the difference between technical service and customer service, because many times it is not clear what each one is responsible for and where we have to go in case of doubt or breakage of the terminal.


Customer service is the service that a company provides to interact with its customers. It is the set of interrelated activities offered by a supplier in order for the customer to obtain the product at the right time and place and ensure its correct use.
It is actually a marketing tool that can be very effective if used correctly. The management is carried out by the person who works in the company and who has the opportunity to communicate with clients and be able to help them and make the best possible impression.
One of the great differences between customer service and technical service is that the first is subjective, that is, it is a business philosophy and “a way of doing things” there are no legal guidelines that govern it, therefore not all Companies have to serve you in the same way.

The technical assistance service (SAT) is the department or company responsible for the maintenance or repair of the products to which it is linked. When a product is purchased, the manufacturer or marketer of the product is obliged to respond to possible manufacturing defects during a certain period (guarantee), which varies according to the legislation of each country / continent.

The guarantee of new products usually have two instances of time, the first is the testing period, during which the customer evaluates that the unit he has purchased works perfectly (this period is usually a few weeks). If an error is observed in this period, the customer has the right to have the product replaced by a new one without going through the SAT. After this period of time before any defect presented the client must go to the SAT.

Once the product is no longer covered by the warranty period, the user is free to contract maintenance with any other technical service, which is why there are many unofficial technical services, that is, they are not linked to any manufacturer or specific marketer, but act at your own risk.
